Welcome to our digital arena!
Get ready for a hands-on day packed with logic, laughter, and high-tech fun! This workshop is all about bringing together kids who love tech, coding, and creative thinking to see what they can create. We keep things completely relaxed here—encouraging everyone to experiment, make mistakes, and learn by doing. If your child loves solving puzzles and thinking outside the box, they’re going to fit right in.
For this event, we’ll be using our own custom-built robotics simulator. It’s a fantastic platform where you can build the AI for your own digital robot, enter it into our “Virtual Olympics,” and watch the action unfold live. Because the simulator runs in real-time, the whole group gets to watch their robots navigate the exact same arena together, cheering each other on as the challenges happen on screen!

What will happen?
Our course is split into 4 modules as we progress throughout the day
Module 1
Race to the finish! We will learn simple robot movement and events. Get your robot to the finish line as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, someone has put a load of obstacles in our way which we need to avoid!
Module 2
We are going to have to make our robots a little bit smarter because next up is a maze to solve! We will need to start using our robot’s sensors and decide what we want to do when we detect walls.
Module 3
We all know the game hide and seek, right? Unfortunately, our robots have no idea how to play! We need to tell our robots what to do to either run away and hide, or track down the other players.
Module 4
We will combine everything we have learned so far to play a game of robot football! The group will be split in half, and each team will programme their robots to compete in the final arena!

Block-Based Coding: Beginners can dive right in using intuitive drag-and-drop code blocks to command their robots immediately.

For the extra curious the actual written text code is always available to look at, tinker with, and explore.
Shared Arena
The kids can submit their robots to the shared arena and see how their code stacks up against others! Each challenge showcases a different skill and at the end of the day we will see which AI can out think the rest!
Students will need bring a packed lunch and a water bottle
