Take Control of Minecraft with Code!
Are you Minecraft mad? In this exciting full-day workshop, you will go behind the scenes and put your own stamp on the minecraft world by creating your own mod! Using beginner-friendly tools, we will guide you step-by-step to create your own blocks, items,and even your own biome!
You will design brand new game content, program it to do wild and custom things, and test them out live inside Minecraft! No prior coding experience is required. Just bring a big imagination, and we’ll provide the rest to unlock your programming power.

What will you learn?
Our course is split into 4 modules as we progress throughout the day
Module 1
In the first session of the day we get to know each other and get to grips with ModCreator. We will walk you through how minecraft constructs the blocks and by the end you’ll have a tree and all the wooden things you can make with it. We will test it out and see it come to life in the game!
Module 2
Now we are ready to create some items! We will work on building up your ideas from a concept to the fully functional custom tool you have always wanted! We will show you how easy it is to borrow and adjust the inbuilt code and learn about class inheritance.
Module 3
Ever wanted to add your own custom mob to the game? Well now you can! You will use blockbench to create a model, animate it, and program it’s AI so it will do just what you want it to. Then use our ModCreator software to add it to the game.
Module 4
We will bring it all together as a full biome! Set the conditions, create the features, and add everything you have made to the world before parents come and see all your hard work!

A real life mod!
After the course we will send out instructions for setting up your own modded server and your source code available on the website for you to download and add to if you wish. We will also release a mod with the whole groups features rolled into one for the ultimate mod experience!
(The image, by the way, is copper shears! We are always annoyed that copper isn’t used more, so we put this together with our tool in two minutes—and now it runs on our home server!)
