I would like to say a big thank you for all of you who came to our code club taster session. It was great to have a chat with you all and let you have a bit of a play with our laptops and a look at our 3D printer in action!
We all had a bit of a play with Scratch, a great way to get running with game development in a very interactive way. We will be trying out Scratch initially in our introductory courses to get the programming brain running before branching out based on students interest and ability level.
Our 50 minute lizard print completed flawlessly. A nice example of the precision and quality that 3D printers can achieve nowadays. This involves articulation with socket and ball joints and is surprising fluid for a single print in place item. No manual assembly required!
