We’re planning some really exciting sessions this year, including:

Game in a Day: Kids can learn the basics of coding and game design, building their very own playable game (like a Platformer or Cosy Game) from scratch to take home and show off.

3D Printing & Modelling: A chance to get creative designing 3D models with Tinkercad or Blender, and they’ll get to see their creations brought to life on our 3D printers.

Pixel Art for Games: Perfect for young artists who want to learn how to design and animate retro-style characters and game assets.

We love teaching skills that give students the tools to keep creating long after the workshop ends. Whether they are complete beginners or already love tech, everyone is welcome!

Can you help us out? We’re currently gauging interest to help us lock down the perfect dates and numbers. If your child might like to join us, please let us know by filling out the short form on our page. We’ll make sure you’re the first to get the official registration link when it goes live!

The post Get Ready to Code this Summer! appeared first on Ctrl Alt Code.

No one seems to have given shops the memo that none of us want to see ‘back to school’ special offers before the term has even ended. Cut us some slack and wait until august at least!

I have a lot to do over the summer getting ready to launch my coding classes in the new term, everything from writing course plans (the fun stuff) and securing venues (the boring stuff) and all the other things I keep putting on my list.

Classes are likely to be limited at first until I have the momentum to expand and places will be allotted on a first come basis.

So I have a request! If a coding club is at all of interest to your family then sign up and register your interest here.
